Flagg Methodist Chapel

Flagg Methodist Chapel

Flaff Methodist Chapel is believed to have been constructed in 1839, a year after the Unitarian Chapel which was further up the village.
The Unitarian Chapel was sold at auction in 2004 and has now been expertly converted into a private dwelling.

The chapel completed an extensive refurbishment in 2007 and now serves the wonderful dual purpose of a place of worship at weekends and on special occasions, and a classroom and play area for children aged 3 and 4 during term time. To enable this, a link building was constructed providing a corridor between the pre-school and the chapel. This project was made possible by a lot of hard work by many local people including the Headmistress of the pre-school, and the congregation of the Chapel. The finished result is judged to be a complete success.
